Value Proposition
Threadline unifies teams and eliminates chaos. By centralising communication and data, Threadline saves hours of back-and-forth, prevents costly mistakes by catching errors, and ensures vital knowledge remains within the company. With flexible workflows, real-time feedback, and robust version control, Threadline builds an intelligent knowledge base that future-proofs the brand's product development process.
Threadline's Features
Communication with Localised Feedback Points
Conversations stay linked to products, with smart chat prioritisation and summaries minimising notification overload. Feedback is typically on specific points of physical samples or files, Threadline allows comments to be shared on specific points, across images, videos, Illustrator files and CAD files.
Error Checking
Threadline builds a company-specific knowledge base from all documents, sample images and chats: allowing for advanced inter and intra document error flagging of manufacturing file inconsistencies.
Version Control
Work-in-progress files and key milestone files are saved to Threadline. They are automatically categorised and version controlled, while product data is intelligently extracted to populate databases efficiently.
Business Model
Enterprise Software as a Service (SaaS)
Threadline’s subscription-based pricing is built around three tiers — Curate, Grow, and Enterprise — to suit diverse organisational needs. Curate offers an accessible entry point for trial runs as a PLM, Grow expands capabilities for scaling teams with AI error checking, and Enterprise delivers advanced features and support for large, complex operations' data pipelines and ERP softwares. Our initial focus is on securing a small number of major clients who can fully leverage Threadline’s robust capabilities, laying the groundwork for sustained growth and a strong market foothold.
Opportunity
Agentic AI Advances
Rapid adoption of AI tools is expected in the next 2-3 years, promising a wealth of efficiency improvements, from automating technical documentation and reducing errors to summarising chats and streamlining communications.
EU Traceability Legislation
Increased requirements for material traceability and impact documentation are coming into effect in the EU in 2026, forcing product developers to document a greater portion of their sourcing channels, and maintain documentation on older products.
An Industry in Need of Change
Current PLM tools are simply data logging portals. Their clunky User Interfaces have hardly changed over decades. The fashion, footwear and apparel industries' technology platforms is a market well suited for innovation.
